Nash Henry's demise, as told by Jack Mazur, is smart, silly, thought-provoking, and downright laughable (I mean that in a good way, honest). This collection plants the author smack in the middle of the funky, fertile field that has produced that special crop called "Florida writers." Jack has an instinct for empathy with his quirky cast of characters that avoids any hint of condescension, settling into a pretty comfortable groove of lager-tinged insights, salted with an entirely understandable impatience with meaningless questions and social yammer. No, he doesn't suffer fools gladly, nor should he. Nor should we. That's the point, or one of them, anyway. Keep it coming, Jack!Note:A really good writer's job is really writing good. Jack Mazur does. He gets five stars!A really good proofreader/editor's job is to take the trash out for the author. Didn't happen here, but that's no reason to downrate the writing..
