The alpha is a kodiak bear, his town and clan is a mixed species grouping and their trucks are disappearing along with the drivers and the shipments that they are carrying. Tamara Roberts is an investigator for the insurance company, a feisty girl who isn't afraid to barbecue a cheating boyfriend's stuff.Alpha Reid Carver (kodiak bear) along with Boris (moose) and Brody (wolf) are trying to protect the town while keeping their shifter status secret. Tammy and Reid are attracted to each other. Mean Gene ( psycho polar bear) kidnaps Tammy.Fun read, Tammy is a riot and Reid , well he is an Alpha. HEA of course.
14 of 14 people found the following review helpful. Great new series! By S. Lacey I really enjoyed this new series from Eve Langlais! I loved Tammy and Reid! Tammy was sassy and funny, she had no trouble standing her ground against everyone. The chemistry between them was explosive! I loved how she kept accidentally injuring him and then getting defensive over it!I also adored Ursula, Reid's granny, she was awesome! I'm looking forward to the rest of the series, especially as Boris and Jan's story is next and I really liked them in this story too! I'll be interested to see what Gene has planned next to mess with the residents of Kodiak Point and whether they'll put a stop to his scheme's in the next book!
10 of 10 people found the following review helpful. Great Way To Start A Series! By Gabi Montgomery Just finished Kodiak's Claim and all I can say is I loved it. Didn't put it down til I finished. Tamara Roberts (city girl) feisty attitude and snarky comments had me laughing out loud on the first page. Reid Carver wasn't bad in that area either and was the perfect image of an alpha Kodiak bear. Whew....makes a girl want to move to Alaska and explore the possibilities. LOL I'm hooked and so looking forward to reading the next book, Outfoxed by Love, in this series.
