I feel so much more grateful for my life after reading that! I would have liked more, I was still engrossed in the story when it ended. I would defintely love to read a sequel, to see what happens next. Well done Barbara.

As I began reading the book I found myself drawn to the 15-year-old Emily and to the story that unfolded. With every page I was drawn more and more into the story. I didn't just witness what a girl can go through when she finds herself ashamed of being born into a poor family and makes the rash decision to run away from home; I actually found myself living through everything that took place.There was a roller coaster of emotion that took over me as I began reading the story and dived deeper and deeper into it. There were moments where I found myself smiling and even chuckling. More so, I found myself in suspense, astonishment, and even fear through and through. I didn't know what would happen to Emily and how the story would end. The ending was definitely unexpected and that made the read even more engaging for me.Throughout the book I sympathized with Emily for what she was going through and I felt for her too. I was moved by the story and even shed some tears along the way. Though I never ran away from home myself I did contemplate doing it at one point. After reading the story I am sure glad I never went along with it. Who knows where I would be today had I actually gone through with it.If you are looking for a novel that will move you, engage you and keep you in suspense then Jailbait is the book for you. I highly recommend it!
