For those of you who are thinking about purchasing this or is the first time reading anything about this author I would have to tell you that this does not have HEA for this book in particular. The ending tore my heart out and I was very upset that Lexi was given the short end of the stick. I still thoroughly enjoyed this book immensely even with grammatical errors all throughout the story or words that were repeated like here here. I wish I had an alien names Lait. Strong, protective and insanely alien attractive. You will enjoy the story and wish the best for them but will be disappointed at the end. I really really hope that there is another book after this. I did look for it just in case. The emotions are real in this one. I felt the fear and loneliness that she experienced the anger at Tyler and the elation after the joyous news. If you want to give this novel a try I say go for it esp if you love tearjerkers. Im not a tragedy type of person but I would read this again even knowing ahead of time what I was getting myself into.
7 of 7 people found the following review helpful. Depressing By Marie The story had lots of potential but it just depressing from beginning to end. Still, I enjoyed the story until she left Earth. I had hope at the auction but that didn't work out how I had thought it might. I did read the whole thing but it was harder and harder as I went along. Be warned No HEA.
7 of 9 people found the following review helpful. No way! By dodger This was horrible. It ended in a cliffhanger with her hurtling through space. Will she make it back to earth? What about her pregnancy? She was ripped from her life with her lover. What about their relationship? Is her sister even alive and has she been returned to earth? Argh! This is too frustrating. If I can buy your stinking book and invest my time reading it then you should be expected to provide a whole story with answers and an ending. I HATE cliffhangers!!!I strongly advise other readers not to read this book.
