She is my favorite author and I just had to read it. This new Single called "They Really Like Me" is another awesome read by the Amazing Anna David!One of the many things I love about Ms. David's writing is that she is able to take a subject, and use her prose to cut through the topic to the heart of the matter.In this case, "They Really Like Me" its about celebrities and people who get to associate with them. Her quote "the proximity to fame" !"They Really Like Me" explores some of the experiences that people encounter when they are around celebrities. But Anna's writing took this to an even deeper level. It helped me realize that this happens with other aspects of our lives.Celebrity proximity can be very similar to our desires to hang out with the popular kids at school. The movers and shakers at the office. The cool people who live in your apartment building. The cool guys who hang out at the local club.Celebrity is just one of those categories. I have had the chance to meet one celebrity twice and those two days were two of the most amazing days of my life. To meet this person in the simple meet and greet after a live performance was very memorable for me personally. I felt like this person "Really Liked Me, Too" !After reading Anna's new Kindle single, once again I think she gets "it" ! Anna takes a topic like this and puts into words that speaks to me and helps me relate to something in my personal life.I want to urge everyone to buy this new single, its a great read!Anthony MarkNYC

Anna David bares another piece of her soul By Pete Miles Like her earlier book, Falling For Me, Anna David exposes herself to her readers in a humorous way. Even if you have never experienced the "proximity to fame", you feel for her because at some point in your life, somebody treated you the way the celebs in her story treated her. You never get the sense that's she bragging about her brushes with celebrity, but you certainly feel for her. My only complaint was that the book was so short!
5 of 6 people found the following review helpful. A Fast and Entertaining Read By Mark Bishop I loved Anna's most recent E-single Animal Attraction, but this is probably my favorite so far. Her celebrity obsession is not uncommon in pop culture, but the effort she undertakes to meet these celebrities is truly hilarious. Not only that, but the lessons she learns along the way are ones that everyone can relate to. Unquestionably worth the 30 minutes of your time!
