About the Author Josiane Umutoni (bebe) is a twenty-two-year-old girl born in a country of a thousand hills, currently living in the United States in New York City. At only nine years old she won a competition of writing a best story for children in a local magazine of her hometown. Her incredible talent didn't end there, because in high school she wrote different play and short stories. “A Letter to My Daughter” is her first book and she is working on her second book, “Mama Land.” Since her childhood, she has always turned her emotions into action and tried to be the change she wants to see in the world. She believes her dreams have come true. Through inspiring stories, she believes she can make a difference in the world.
