His exquisitely written tapestry will enchant people of all ages. Readers of his stunning six-book series have watched William grow from a mischievous preschooler to a clear-eyed youth, but he never loses his wonderful appetite for daring adventures and experiences in a small North Carolina coastal town. You will cheer out loud as he finds the inner strength to face the steep hurdles of life during his final two years of high school in the late 1950s.
