About the Author
Avam Hale is a sixty-year-old corporate executive who has lived and worked in China on behalf of a US multinational company for the past eight years. He holds a BA in economics from Middlebury College and was chosen as Global Leader for Tomorrow in the inaugural World Economic Forum class of 1993, alongside the likes of Bill Gates, Michael Dell, and Yo-Yo Ma.
Author of the thoughtful thriller The Message?, Hale is the divorced father of two daughters, and his pen name is an anagram of their names.

Explores the effect of nuclear threat on a small town. Interweaves philosophical discussion into the mix in an easy to absorb manner.Should be a must read for Physicians, History buffs,Psychologists and the psychologically minded as well as all those who want to 'experience' a trying time in World history. The author does find redeeming aspects through the narration of the tale, a tale of a young boy and a medical 'miracle' - what that miracle means for a family, a mother, a town and the boy as well.

Wondering if we were all going to be blown up! It's also a story of unconditional love and perseverance as told by the mother of a child with health issues at the same time as these world events unfold. Really enjoyed it. Very well written.
