Her settings are very descriptive, and she has a different-in-a-good-way of sorting the story, switching from third to first person viewpoint, and telling the story in bits and pieces in a non linear fashion. I was drawn in and interested in the characters and in the past mysteries the narrative kept hinting at, that I couldn't put my ipad down until I knew what happened.
