I am not here trying to write a New York Times Bestseller. I am writing this book with the hopes that one person may read it and be motivated, or inspired to change their life for the better. I hope that you would be encouraged to overcome your own obstacles. If one person reads this book and has their life changed then it was worth the effort. This book is written in two parts. Part one is the story of my life as I have seen and experienced it. I know that some people will not appreciate everything that I have to say, and perhaps over time my own personal views will change how I see the world and life in its grand scheme. However, it is my honest and open account. I wouldn’t change a thing about my life; I have been sincerely blessed throughout it. Part two are short topic papers that I have written throughout my Air Force career. I found that when I started to get angry or frustrated with the system I would sit down at the computer and pound away on the topic at hand. It helped with the stress and frustrations of military bureaucracy. It is through these papers that my heart and desire to serve with the best I have to give is engrained as much as possible.

About the Author TJ Lombardi is currently serving in the United States Air Force. He has spent over eight years of his life helping to motivate and encourage many other Airmen and people to change their lives and grow in positive ways. He launched into writing his story after he was inspired by his cousin who wrote her own fictional story. After many hours he completed what you know hold in your hands. He is now dedicating his efforts to finishing two more books, one fictional, and one a follow-on to this book, as well as working on a joint project to tell another amazing story of one of his fellow military brothers.

By Chris Cisna I'm currently going through tech school and this book has given me some great advice/quotes for being a leader and different ways to connect with my airmen. It also tells the story of what it's like to be in the Air Force, such as some of the people you have to deal with (good and bad) and the training you will have to go through. This book also shows you what it can be like to be a motivated airman and what it takes to push through. There are some grammatical errors but you are still able to understand everything being said. I recommend buying this book.
