I would have liked to hear more about her life now. Good job Geneva I am sorry you had to go through this tough life experience but I know you are a stronger person because of it.

This girl didn't grow up with the quasi-normal American, doting family. No, what she got was a bad hand early on. Hard to swallow, but abuse happens all the time. An eye-opening read.

By ArizonaSharon This short book (in number of pages) is so vividly written one can follow along visually in their mind while reading. It allows one to 'see & feel' the pain this young lady endured. Couldn't put it down and the ending line made me want to read more. Hoping there is more so I can hear and see those in-between-years from where this book started at the end of a time period in this young lady's journey.
