3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. A Lovely Memoir about Facing Challenges and Defying Limits By Rebecca of Amazon "The Sky's the Limit" is an encouraging memoir. This book tells the story of one woman's life battling Scoliosis and Cerebral Palsy. Susie Bennett has a fighting spirit and does not give up easily. She accomplishes everything her doctors tell her she won't be able to do in her life. She especially excels at swimming which brings her much joy. This story gives insight into the life of someone living in England. I loved reading about the castles, tea rooms, art classes and cooking classes. There are also lots of pictures. I also enjoyed reading about the funny thing that happened when Susie meets HRH Princess Anne. Sometimes in life you just have to laugh. One thing that struck me as amazing was how patient Susie Bennett is with all the surgeries she had to undergo to correct various conditions. The book left me feeling hopeful for other people with her conditions. I'd recommend this book to anyone but specifically to anyone struggling with Cerebral Palsy. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Wonderful, Ispiring! By Crystal The Sky's the Limit tells the story of a young lady's determination to make herself as independent as possible. Like Susie, I too have Cerebral Palsy, So I can truly relate to her story. Even though CP effects me differently then her, we still have a lot in common. Susie also brings home the point that though a person may have a disability, they are far more then what shows om the outside, so, therefore, they should be treated with the same respect and kindness, as if they didn't have a disability. Yes, the book is somewhat hard to fallow, that aside, It is a book that I highly recommend!!!

Katz This book was immensely inspiring and I enjoyed it from the first page to the last! The author is a beautiful example to anyone that suffers with a disability that no matter what obstacles you have in your life, they can be overcome with enough determination, support and faith. I loved the story that was presented and how much her family helped her to become everything she was capable of being- in other words, the sky was her limit! She was a true free spirit and I saw how much she wanted to live her life in the very best way she could. She let nothing stop her from what she wanted to experience and she shared her experiences with the reader in a wonderful way. I simply loved it!
