About the Author Mike Win served in the U.S. Army as an infantry officer and deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom during the “Surge” campaign of 2007. He attended the United States Military Academy at West Point and was a guest at the Sheridan Federal Correctional Institution. He is currently resides in the Pacific Northwest.

It is interesting to see things from his perspective as well having been there while it was all happening.
