Thought provoking By Amazon Customer A compelling story written in the vernacular language of the authors (think of the common language as spoken in The Grapes of Wrath). Had perfect sentence structure been used to draft this tale much of the true emotion and culture drawn upon from the author's past reality may have been lost from this story. As it is, the reader is challenged to step into the world of Corbett and the spiritual dimension of that world experienced through the descriptions of Tobias.Deep theological concepts are introduced within the tale in a way that the reader may not necessarily realize they are even being introduced to theology. This book causes one to examine themselves in the light of Scripture and to examine Scripture in the light of what society and/or the church may have portrayed to them. This book is a great work of fiction with basis in reality that challenges the reader to seek Truth and fight the good fight.

The back and forth layout of the book and between authors was easy to follow and a neat style. Subject matter was very realistic. Didn't want the story to end.

By Cassandra Irwin After reading this book, I'm more mindful of the spiritual world around us behind the scenes. It was well written, and the back and forth of the two authors keeps the reader engaged. A quick read, and well worth every minute.
