Some remarkable things about her: she saw and spoke with her guardian angel (almost) daily, had the stigmata (how few other saints did?!), devoted herself to purity and pondering the Lord's passion, suffered demonic abuse and is the most frequently present saint to assist exorcists next to Our Lday and Padre Pio.. She's a saintly friend you'll definitely want for guidance and assistance!p.s. The autobiography, quite short (50 pages?), may come across as simply and sappy, but take this as a note of Gemma's genuine purity and humility. Her diary, also quite short, is more descriptive of her close companionship with Our Lord and struggles against Satan.

L. though small and rather short, this autobiography of this young Sainte of Lucca, Gemma Galgani, will surely inspire you to do all necessary to get closer to GOD, especially for young children and teenagers and also for adults who have left the church, this is essential for all Catholic and also non-Catholic families
