As much as I enjoyed the earlier books, I found it difficult to like anything about this one. Much of what attracted me to the story had been taken away. The sense of discovery and adventure was gone, the gaming aspects was gone, the sense of fun was gone, the smart and rational MC became an emotionaly driven idiot, the atmosphere of wild possibilities became gloomy and dark, everything had been taken away, sacrificed at the altar of a deeper plot. It was like ordering a steak and being served a salad. The salad might be very good, but It was not my cup of tea. 2 stars for me.

By JRR This is the book that should've come after the Omegaverse setting had been beaten to death and was only holding on for one more taste of the McRib before kicking the bucket. It essentially throws away everything that I liked in favor of magic aliens/AIs and what I'm assuming is a fantasy setting for the next arc. That makes no sense. Even if later books circle back, the cows have already left the barn. The taint of this book's revelations won't just disappear. Add in the way it rushed through each plot point, checking them off on its way to an awkward, doughy finish, and I just didn't like Shepherd's Cross.

Good, fun and fast read By Amazon Customer Like the first 2 books, a fast and fun read.I enjoyed the galactic battle for colonization rights, great collaboration between players and real character development.The story is advancing in a different route that I imagined, which is now, albeit interesting, very often seen in SF movies and books. I was expecting a focus on galactic development, exploration, colonization, that thrill when you start something and hope nothing goes wrong.I look forward to future development. Keep up the good work!

It does require a decent base knowledge of .NET objects and Powershell, but the author does a great job breaking the numerous tasks in the book down into a way that that is easily understandable. Debanth touches various tasks ranging from simply connecting to a vCenter Server as well as using REST APIs. Very dynamic range of information.There were a few typos that the publishers were made aware of and they put in the effort to respond and verify that they would be correcting them. The main one was dealing with comparison operators and their syntax.Overall definitely recommended if you require PowerCLI on a regular basis for your occupation or for fun!

The main character's (Cissy) story of reconciliation was powerful! Ms. Jada Kaye, did a wonderful job; her words painted a technicolor tale.

Some remarkable things about her: she saw and spoke with her guardian angel (almost) daily, had the stigmata (how few other saints did?!), devoted herself to purity and pondering the Lord's passion, suffered demonic abuse and is the most frequently present saint to assist exorcists next to Our Lday and Padre Pio.. She's a saintly friend you'll definitely want for guidance and assistance!p.s. The autobiography, quite short (50 pages?), may come across as simply and sappy, but take this as a note of Gemma's genuine purity and humility. Her diary, also quite short, is more descriptive of her close companionship with Our Lord and struggles against Satan.

However, there were some thing's that didn't make sense, like when they met the gasts in the cave because everyone knows gasts only spawn in the nether so im not sure about that. also why did the skeletons attack the zombies? and why were the zombies even trying to get chicken and Lucy in the first place? anyway, really good book, and I hope this review helps you decide to buy this book! keep on writing Steve the noob! --TheGolem64

He loved it (though he did say the narrative structure was hard to follow - it jumps around in time without warning, much like Faulkner does). In fact, he enjoyed reading it so much it inspired him to read more in general!

Very Good Book By Jason Garcia This is a very strange book for me, the main character seems to be the son but then its Pedro, a lot of dead people talking, it goes back and forth,a little confusing, but i enjoyed it, i even watched the movie afterwards. it did impress me the things Juan did in this book. Great work of art!!!

My rating for this particular edition (Grandes Clásicos), however, is lower because it has numerous punctuation and diacritical errors. Here are just two examples from early on in the story:On page 10: --Voy a ver a mi padre contesté.It should read instead: --Voy a ver a mi padre-- contesté.On page 17: El agua que goteaba de las tejas hacia un agujero en la arena del patio.It should read instead: El agua que goteaba de las tejas *hacía* un agujero en la arena del patio.These sorts of mistakes don't prevent you from understanding the text, but they are unnecessary distractions and make a wonderful book less enjoyable.
