Want a private get-away to a place where the pace of life is a little slower, where you can relax with your favorite glass of wine? Well, you don't have to pack any bags or book any flights. You can take your own mini vacation by reading "The Story She Had to Tell". This tender romantic 1950's love story is juxtaposed against the heroine's present day life, and her bonding with a long-time friend. The story keeps you intrigued with the hint of a "secret" to be revealed as the re-telling of earlier life events unfold. Both past and present come together in a moving, satisfying ending that is sure to touch your heart.

By wendy critton This is "a book you can't put down:" because... you will want to find out what happens next...and there are so many of those moments..romantic, tearful, joyous, just enough of the" edgy" to keep you enthralled.. You find yourself knowing who these characters are and feeling their reactions to what's happening in their lives..It's one of those rare stories that pulls you in and keeps you there til the very end...when you will smile...wistfully.
